on two posts fixed not so far,
A board caught my attention.
And it read 'Jammu Railway Station' .
7o'clk in the evening it was,
Street Lights were glowing ,to take over the dark.
Entered the station with my family
"God ! its so packed", I said firmly.
"You wait here, I'll be back" ,
Rushing towards the counter it was my Dad.
Within few minutes, he was back,
"The train is One Hour late " , he said.
I was restless and impatient
"I want to wander around the station, Dad"
Seeking permission in a voice so unpleasant.
He nodded his head in approval,
"But be back in time right here my gal".
I came out of the waiting room,
And started looking all around.
Cool winds started blowing,
A strange refreshing change it brought in my mood.
Suddenly my eyes turned towards the same road,
Lying in front of the station gate
Effortlessly I moved towards it,
With my mind entering different state.
No sooner had i started watching there
All my attention was drawn by a car,
A guy stepped out of which, so handsome and fair.
I stood there fixed like a nail and watched.
An old couple Got out of it,
And the boy pulled the luggage off the seat.
They entered the gate and walked in,
And i stood there still watching,
Thinking where they might be going ?
Slowly followed them and stopped realizing soon,
That they have entered the same waiting room.
I didn't move inside,
but stayed in the lobby outside.
Then ,I saw the lad coming out,
He rushed towards the counter,
Making his way through the crowd,
As he was standing in the queue,
My eyes were fixed at him like a glue .
Lurked behind the pillar, stared him head to toe,
"Oh He is in casuals ,What could be the matter,so "
"Has he came to drop the couple here?"
"Or he might also be going somewhere ".
And in such endless thoughts,
I was so completely lost.
That i hadn't even realized,
My stealing had been caught .
Standing few steps away, he was staring me.
As if asking through his Sapphire eyes "When will you make me free? "
I felt embarrassed and went cold.
Unable to move as, if ,
Someone had got me in his complete hold.
My Culprit eyes, fixed right at the floor,
Neither could i move, nor could stare him anymore.
Suddenly I heard some noise coming closer,
More clearer it was becoming, more i felt frozen.
All i could see, a tall shadow chasing ,a man!
The person stopped where I was standing,
I could hear a voice ,beautiful and heart thrashing.
"Seeing those lost eyes,
Feeling this amazing scent ,
I believe i can read your mind,
And the restlessness you gave me ,hence ".
Those words were dancing,
no words can describe, how fast my heart was pounding.
With every effort, i could collect,
I tried hard to turn up my head.
But was shocked to see,
This person singing was He.
Who locked me with his presence.
Who made winds go pleasant.
Whose Sapphire eyes had seized me.
And who meddled with my heart beats.
While i was thinking all this,
The handsome guy was smiling, just.
The eyes were stuck on each other
What was the time no one bothered.
Suddenly I heard someone calling my name.
"Come on Dear! Its time to board the train ."
The moment these words struck my ears,
Didn't know How , my eyes went moist with tears,
Through his Sapphire eyes, I could see.
"Don't go ", as if that's all they were trying to speak.
I wished that moment could last forever,
I wished Time could stop running,
I wished this world could freeze over there,
And that one hour could be more something.
I just turned towards the platform hurriedly,
But for one last time , I turned back to see,
Stood still there, That Handsome Guy!
With same pleading eyes,
He kept looking at me......
